What Are Peptides

Research Use vs. Human Use
A major distinction in this space is the difference between research context and human-use context.
A substance labeled for research use may be intended for laboratory or investigational settings, not for personal human use. Labels such as “research use only” or “not for human consumption” do not automatically make a product lawful for all uses, nor do they override how a product is marketed, discussed, sold, or used.

Half-life refers to the amount of time it takes for the level of a substance to reduce by half in the body or system being studied.

Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetics describes what the body does to a substance, including absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination.
Pharmacodynamics
Pharmacodynamics describes what a substance does to the body, including biological effects and pathway activity.
Adverse Event
An adverse event is an unwanted or harmful event reported during a study or after exposure. The absence of reported adverse events does not automatically mean something is risk-free.
Statistical Significance
Statistical significance means a result is unlikely to be due to chance under the study’s assumptions. It does not automatically mean the effect is large, clinically meaningful, safe, or relevant to every person.
